問題のスキャン代行業者の場合ですが、実際に開業してみたところ、全く予想していなかった客層からの注文も多くて驚かされたそうです。それはすなわち、「目が不自由なお客様からの注文も多かった」とのこと。書籍をＰＣに取り込んで、音声読み上げソフトと組み合わせて利用する人も多かったようです。これまで視覚障害者のニーズに対応できていなかったことを出版業界は反省材料とすべきでしょうね。
